Codeliveshare is a browser-based code editor with built-in execution and real-time collaboration. You open a session, paste or write code in any of 60+ languages, hit Run, and share the URL so others can view or edit alongside you.

No. You can use Codeliveshare anonymously — open a session, run code, and share the link without creating an account. Named accounts let you save and revisit sessions, unlock account history, and access Pro features.

We support 60+ programming languages via our sandboxed runners, including Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java, C, C++, C#, Ruby, PHP, Kotlin, Swift, Bash, SQL, and many more. You can switch language at any time from the session.

No native apps yet. Codeliveshare runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile.

Each session has a code pane on the left (with a Run button) and a notes pane on the right for plain-text notes. Both panes are resizable and persist as part of the same document, so collaborators see both update in real time.

Anyone with the session link can join. You see live cursors, edits merge without conflicts, and presence indicates who's in the room. There is no video or audio — just code and notes, kept in sync.

The link creator is the owner and chooses whether the link grants view-only or view + edit access. Permissions can be changed at any time.

Yes. Signed-in users can save a snapshot of a session from the editor. Saved runs appear under your account, don't expire, and you control who can open them through the permissions you set on the link.

Code runs in sandboxed, isolated containers on our execution backend. Each run is short-lived and has CPU, memory, and time limits to protect the platform.

Yes. The runner accepts standard input for languages that read from stdin, so you can paste sample input and run interactively.

Yes — each run is capped on CPU time, memory, and output size, and there are per-account rate limits to prevent abuse. Pro users get a higher priority execution queue.

Not in v1. Runners are ephemeral and don't allow long-running processes, network access, or persistent package installs.

Anyone can create as many sessions as they need. A session stays available while it's active and for a short period after it goes idle. Signed-in users can save sessions to keep them — up to 20 on the free tier and 1000 on Pro. You decide who can open each session through the permissions you set on its link.

Saved runs don't expire — they're retained indefinitely on every tier, and free accounts get unlimited saved runs. You control who can open each saved run through the permissions you set on its link.

Anonymous use is allowed with limited functionality. Named accounts are created with email + password via our authentication provider. You can upgrade an anonymous session to a named account without losing your sessions.

Yes. You can delete your account at any time from account settings. Your content is deleted from active systems within 15 days, except where retention is required for legal or abuse-prevention purposes.

Pro is a flat-fee subscription — no usage metering or per-run charges. See the pricing page for current monthly and annual rates.

For ads, yes — viewers of a Pro-owned session see no ads even if they are free or anonymous users. Other Pro features (higher session limits, viewer caps, priority queue) apply to the owner's session.

A Pro-only setting that lets you cap how many non-owner viewers can be in a session at the same time. Useful for keeping interview, classroom, or demo sessions controlled.

Upgrade from the pricing page or your account settings. Cancellation is one click from the billing section — your Pro access continues until the end of the paid period, then your account reverts to the free tier.

Subscription fees are non-refundable as a general policy because you can cancel anytime and keep access through the paid period. We do honour statutory refund rights and review exceptions like duplicate charges. See the Terms of Service for details.

Ads are shown to free and anonymous viewers. They are not shown to Pro users, and they are not shown on sessions owned by a Pro user — the Pro perk extends to all guests of a Pro-owned doc.

Anyone with a session link can access it according to the permissions you set. We don't publicly index sessions. See the Privacy Policy for how we store and process your content.
